Dr. Jennifer Boustany grew up in Crowley, Louisiana. She graduated cum laude from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, now known as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1981. She earned her medical degree at Louisiana State University in New Orleans and completed her Pediatric Residency at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge.
Following her residency training she remained in Baton Rouge dividing her time between private practice and supervising Pediatric Residents at Earl K. Long Hospital as an assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Louisiana State University.
Dr. Boustany returned to Lafayette, Louisiana in 1989 joining Dr. Judice, where she has continued to practice General Pediatrics. She is Board Certified in General Pediatrics and is an active staff member at Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where she has served on multiple committees and currently is a member of the Board of Trustees.
Dr. Boustany serves on the Board of Woman’s Foundation, Inc., where she has been President and currently serves as the chairman of the Scholarship committee. She is a member of Louisiana State Medical Society, Lafayette Parish Medical Society, and Acadiana Pediatric Society. She is also a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Boustany enjoys cooking, sports, especially football, and all things Star Trek.
